DevOps and Build Engineer - Compiler
NVIDIA is hiring a DevOps and Build Engineer to join its Compiler Team. This role works with an engineering team building next-generation compiler technologies and maintaining build infrastructure for NVIDIA GPU compiler features.

Role overview
The role focuses on enhancing and maintaining build infrastructure and delivering new libraries, executables, and related outputs for new compiler features. The work supports NVIDIA GPUs across computational workloads including deep learning, scientific computation, self-driving cars, and AAA game graphics workloads.
The compiler organization contributes to every GPU NVIDIA produces.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure integration and delivery of software.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to improve the efficiency and reliability of build systems.
- Monitor and optimize system and build performance.
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes to streamline development workflows.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues, ensuring the stability and performance of environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years' work experience in software development or DevOps roles.
- Proven experience with GNU Make, CMake, Bazel, or similar build tools.
- Proficiency in Docker, Jenkins (Groovy), GitLab CI/CD, Artifactory, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, including Perforce and Git.
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with LLVM build and AI tools would be an advantage.
