The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering department in Sweden is looking for a Cloud Engineer who will use knowledge and skills to challenge teammates and leaders to innovate on existing expertise and provide sustainable, disruptive solutions that exceed industry standards for clients.
You will join more than 20 skilled and motivated colleagues in Sweden as part of Accenture Technology, a group of 400+ colleagues working across industries and projects. The team covers many technologies and methodologies and fosters a positive environment built on knowledge sharing, cooperation, and ongoing development.
Responsibilities
As a Cloud Expert/Engineer, you will use your knowledge and skills to help provide sustainable, disruptive solutions for clients. This could include:
- Running client workshops to share knowledge, plan, and design solutions
- Designing, provisioning, and securing cloud architectures for global and local business-critical systems
- Orchestrating and automating environments for proof-of-concept demos or production deployments
- Engaging in architecture or other training as a student or faculty
Requirements
Accenture is looking for someone who is passionate about technology and its adoption, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and an interest in on-prem, cloud, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Here’s what you need:
- Academic degree, preferably at Master’s level, or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of experience working with one or more cloud providers’ technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or on-prem technologies
- Experience as a developer and/or technical architect
- Experience with infrastructure and automation across construction and deployment processes
- Experience working according to agile methods, DevOps, and Lean principles
- Ability to explain technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical business-focused audiences
- Understanding of Cloud Native development practices
- Experience with infrastructure transformation and/or cloud transformation
- Experience with cloud ecosystems, from transforming requirements into design through to operations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Nice to have
Bonus points for knowledge or experience in:
- Microservice architecture
- Design and scaling of IT systems
- CI/CD, automation, and security
- Container platforms such as OpenShift, Google Anthos, Azure Kubernetes Service, and VMware Tanzu
- Integration architecture and integration/event solutions such as Cloud Suppliers Integration Services, Kafka, JBoss Fuse, Solace, and Mule ESB
- API and event-driven architecture
- Technical architecture standards, security, and frameworks
- Infrastructure as code, security controls, monitoring tools, DevOps tools, and services such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, Ant, Maven, Chef, Docker, Git, and Jenkins
- Consulting or client service delivery
