Scandinavian Capital Markets is looking for a DevOps Engineer to build and operate the AWS infrastructure behind its applications and ML systems.

Scandinavian Capital Markets is building the next generation of currency trading technology and products.
The company is looking for a seasoned engineer who can work independently and think outside the box, with a strong voice in high-level decisions such as system architecture, UI/UX, and product roadmap.
The DevOps Engineer will build and operate the AWS infrastructure behind applications and ML systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications and ML workflows
- Deploy and operate services on AWS, including EC2 hosting and model hosting on SageMaker
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Run containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes
- Own release management and deployment processes
- Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting
Requirements
- Hands-on AWS experience in production
- Strong Linux / Windows Server administration skills
- CI/CD experience, ideally with GitHub Actions
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Terraform or CloudFormation experience
- Python and/or Bash scripting
- Observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
- Experience with both application and ML deployment workloads
- 3+ years of work experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- 3+ years of work experience with GitHub
