Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Build and maintain highly available, scalable container platforms.
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform / CloudFormation.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized workloads.
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance across EKS environments.
• Monitor cluster performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Manage networking components, including VPC, load balancers, and ingress controllers.
• Optimize cost, performance, and resource utilization.
• Troubleshoot cluster, networking, and application issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to enable cloud-native adoption.

Additional responsibilities

• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems.
• Strong business acumen, strategy, and cross-industry thought leadership.
• Awareness of latest technologies and industry trends.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate.
• Two or three industry domain knowledge.
• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available.
